About Truth Tailors

Built from inside the industry, not studied from the outside.

Truth Tailors is founder-run. Two marketers who know the green industry from the inside, backed by a small team, with no account managers in between. When you call, a founder picks up.

Why we started this

We know the nerve of this industry.

Truth Tailors exists for one reason. After nine years in marketing, five of them inside the green industry, Amaan knew exactly what converts here and what doesn't. What operators read as hogwash the moment it lands in their inbox. And what real marketing looks like for the realest industry there is.

That knowledge deserved its own shop. So we built one: an agency that works only in the green industry, and only in the way we know works.

You can't fake fluency in this industry. Operators hear it in the first sentence.
The founders

Two founders. Both on every account.

Strategy · Positioning · Copy

Nine years in marketing, the last five inside the green industry. Started as a copywriter and became Head of Marketing at SiteRecon, a software company built for the landscaping industry. His ads ran best in NALP's Edge newsletter, the green industry's publication of record. Not once. Repeatedly.

His obsession is a simple idea most marketers never sit with: how you say something matters more than what you say. Every operator in your market is saying roughly the same thing. Licensed, insured, reliable, on time. The one who says it differently is the one who gets remembered.

That's why he reads every line twice: once for what it means, once for what it signals. And it's why the work keeps getting better after launch. When you know why a line converted, you can do it again on purpose. When you only know that it converted, you're guessing.

Paid Media · Performance

4+ years running paid social at GroupM, the world's largest media agency, for clients that don't accept pretty reporting: Essilor, Nestlé, Discover. She knows what an ad is supposed to do because making it do that was her job.

She brings the same scrutiny to every landing page and every dollar: the right message, in front of the right operator, at the moment they're ready to act. If a campaign can't explain what a customer cost to win, she kills it.

How we're built

Founder-led. Team-backed. No layers.

Some clients bring a lot of work. We have a small team behind us to deliver it, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

Here's what we will promise: the strategy and the words come from the founders, and you deal with the founders directly. No account managers translating your business secondhand. No handoffs where your context gets lost. When something goes wrong, the person explaining it to you is the person responsible for it. That's the accountability most agencies quietly remove, and it's the one thing about our structure we'll never change.

Where this is going

The point of all this.

Mission

To deliver honest, taste-driven marketing to the green industry, backed by real experience from inside it, so the businesses in it finally get help that moves the needle.

Vision

To become the most trusted marketing voice in the green industry. A new standard for what honest, intelligent marketing looks like for businesses that have been overlooked or misled for too long.

How we think

It's not what you say. It's how you say it.

Every marketing message says two things: what it means, and what it signals. "Full-service solutions" signals you have nothing specific to say. "Booked through October" signals you're good enough to be busy. Same industry, same service, opposite result.

This is the core of how we work, and it's why the results compound.

  1. 01
    The how decides the outcome.

Operators and their customers have seen every claim before. They don't buy the claim. They buy the way it's made: the specificity, the confidence, the fluency that says this person knows the work. We engineer that, line by line.

  2. 02
    Fluency is a head start.

We already know the seasonality, the buying cycles, and the language of this industry. You won't spend your first month teaching us your business. While another agency is doing discovery, we're already writing.

  3. 03
    Knowing why means optimizing forever.

Most agencies can tell you an ad worked. They can't tell you why, so they can't repeat it. Because we work at the level of language, we know which words did the lifting. That turns every campaign into a lesson the next one builds on. The work gets sharper every month, not just refreshed.

The filter

Four things we refuse to compromise.

If a recommendation, an ad, or an email can't survive these, it doesn't ship.

Value 01

Honesty

No shortcuts, no snake oil. We say the uncomfortable thing first and name the trade-offs, even when we could bill for silence.

Value 02

Taste

Rewriting a headline nine times. Caring what one adjective does to a sentence. Refusing the template when a considered choice exists.

Value 03

Depth

Writing for people who plow snow in January and quote spring cleanups in February. Skipping the discovery questions we can already answer.

Value 04

Conviction

"This is what we'd do," not "here are five options." Defending a strong idea past the first round of pushback.

Get started

You've read this far. That tells us something.

30 minutes. No pitch deck. No pressure. Come tell us where your business is, and we'll tell you what we'd do. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so on the call.
